Parent and Child

Our Parent and Child (Mommy and Me) program gives parents and children a time to discover the Montessori approach together. With the help from our experienced teachers, you and your child will explore Montessori materials, gain insights into child development, and connect with other families. Whether you are new to Montessori or looking to deepen your understanding, this program offers an enriching experience for both you and your child.

Why Choose the Parent and Child Program?

Spend Quality Time with Your Child
In our Parent and Child sessions, you will watch your child explore and try new things. As your child uses Montessori materials and plays with other children. you will see their confidence and joy grow. These sessions create happy memories that you can share together.

Connect with Other Parents
Each session includes up to eight families with children close in age. You will join a welcoming group where you can make friends, share experiences, and explore our classroom and playground.

Build Your Parenting Toolkit
Raising a young child is exciting, but it can be challenging too. Montessori principles can make it easier. Each week, our teacher will talk about topics important to all parents, giving you ideas to help your child learn and grow at home.

See Montessori in Action
Our Parent and Child program shows you the Montessori method in action. You and your child will spend time in our classroom where you will explore typical daily activities and see our teaching methods firsthand. If you are wondering if Montessori is the right fit for your family, this is a great way to find out.

“Parent & Child / Mommy and Me was a great opportunity for me to learn more about the Montessori approach. With this program, I got to see how Montessori preschool works in practice, what actually happens in class every day. I knew that once my daughter attended preschool, I wouldn’t be able to be there with her and see what she does every day. It was great to be able to experience the Montessori program together, so I can relate to her world once she starts preschool at Little Elephant this fall.”

“I am a huge advocate of Montessori Parent-Toddler Programs. I loved the first program I attended with Caspar many years ago. There is only so much Montessori you can learn online and in books. Getting a first hand experience is invaluable. If you have a toddler and are even just slightly the littlest bit interested in Montessori I encourage you to check out a program near you.”
