Why Choose Little Elephant?
Choosing the right Montessori school, for your child is a big decision as parents. At Little Elephant, we offer something special—a place where your child is encouraged to grow, explore, and become a confident, independent thinker. We believe that learning is more than just what happens in the classroom. Your child will develop important life skills, build strong character, and discover the joy of learning.
Your child is part of a caring community at our school. We help our students think for themselves and guide them as they explore their interests. They become successful adults, ready to take on life’s challenges with confidence and curiosity. We connect what they learn in the classroom to real-life experiences. This helps them understand the world and their place in it.
Beautiful, Welcoming Schools
The place where your child spends the most time outside of their home should be filled with warmth and beauty. At Little Elephant, we create bright, welcoming classrooms that feel like home, especially for our youngest students. Our schools are friendly places, filled with beautiful, carefully designed materials that meet each child’s needs. The smiles of our students inspire us every day to do our best work.
Our schools has its own character, shaped by its location. We maintain the high standards of Montessori education and care.

Purposeful Learning Spaces
Our classrooms are simple, beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared. Children are naturally curious and sensitive to their surroundings. We create classrooms that nurture this sense of wonder. Child-sized wooden furniture and open, organized shelves invite children to explore. Our classrooms are calm, uncluttered, and filled with materials that are as beautiful as they are functional. By surrounding children with a peaceful space, we show them that they are valued and capable.
Our classrooms are designed to match each program. For infants, we have built-in kitchens and nap rooms to meet their needs. Toddler rooms are cozy and safe, with in-room toilets for toilet learning. Primary classrooms are large and filled with a variety of Montessori materials. If you have only ever seen a more traditional classroom, we invite you to tour our schools and see the beauty of Montessori spaces. We know that you will be pleasantly surprised.
Play is important for every child. We make sure our students enjoy plenty of time to play outdoors. Our playgrounds are designed to encourage physical activity and exploration. Some of our schools have natural play areas with grassy hills, logs for balancing, tunnels for crawling, and gardens for planting. For colder days, we have indoor play areas with natural light. Whether inside or outside, our play spaces give our students a chance to explore, move, and have fun.
Passionate Professionals
Our school is led by a Head of School—an expert educator who mentors and develops our teachers and leads the implementation of our curriculum. Our teachers are dedicated to helping your child succeed, and we strive to hire the best teachers. Many have Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) credentials. They participate in ongoing training, so that they can continue to give their best to their students.
It is not just who our teachers are, but how they teach. We motivate our students by transferring their natural curiosity about the world into an academic setting. We make sure that their thirst for knowledge is satisfied by their school experiences. We want our students to understand the world so they can make a difference in it. We guide our students in a clear, step-by-step way so that our students can build on what they learn without simply memorizing facts. This helps them understand what they are learning and how it connects to their world.

Strong Partnerships with Families
We believe that learning is a partnership between families and our school. We work closely with our parents to make sure that each child is supported in the best way possible. We invite parents to observe classrooms, attend family events, and stay informed through regular communication. For example, our parents can visit during our “Watch Me Work Wednesdays” to see their child learning in action. We also host Parent Info Evenings throughout the year to share important updates and talk about how we can work together to support each child’s growth. Our Virtual Parenting Talks deepen your Montessori knowledge and build your parenting toolkit. When our parents and our teachers work as a team, our students thrive and feel confident as they grow and learn.
When you are touring school, it is important to choose the one that feels right for your child. Little elephant is more than just a school—it is a community where your child will be supported, inspired, and prepared for the future. We are the place where your child can thrive. Come see for yourself!
